Nasledujúce modlitby sú prevzaté z knihy, ktorá vyšla v roku 1740 v Toulouse vo Francúzsku. Napísal ju páter Adrien Parvillers zo Spoločnosti Ježišovej, apoštolský misionár vo Svätej zemi. Knihu aprobovali, schválili a odporučili cirkevné vrchnosti.
Jeho Svätosť pápež Pius IX. tieto modlitby poznal, 31. mája 1862 schválil a ako zodpovedajúce pravde ich považoval za veľmi užitočné pre spásu duší. It appears that Williams was forced to issue the apology. He regrets only "the language of the blessing", the use of the church and liturgical vestments, but insists he "meant it well".
"The form that the blessing took, as shown in the video, was due to my attempt to give them a meaningful (!) moment of God's grace (!)".
It was only when the video of the pseudo wedding went viral that Williams realised he had "made a very poor choice of words".
"I am deeply sorry for any confusion and/or anger this has caused, especially to the people of God."
He didn't apologise for the blasphemy he committed, he won't be punished, and no reparations will be made.

Jayme Clune of Atlanta, Georgia, testified on NcRegister.com (6 May) about "strange occurrences" in her home as her family began the conversion process to Catholicism.
She and her husband received baptism, confirmation and Holy Communion at this year's Easter Vigil. Prior to their conversion, the family attended a non-denominational religious group with large video screens, weak music and a feel-good preacher. They have two young children.
Jayme Clune studied the history of the early Church and found that her beliefs were consistent with those of the Catholic Church. She and her husband were both drawn to the tradition, liturgy and sacraments of the Church.
As they began the official process of conversion, they were confronted with strange occurrences in their home.
- Lights would go on in rooms where no one had been.
- A large arched window inexplicably shattered, sending thousands of shards of glass across the floor.
- Water leaked from the kitchen sink.
